WASHINGTON, D.C.—Congressman Pat Harrigan (R-NC), a combat-decorated Green Beret, defense entrepreneur, and graduate of the United States Military Academy with a degree in Nuclear Engineering, who represents North Carolina’s 10th District, has been appointed to the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology.
The committee oversees federal scientific research and development, with jurisdiction over key agencies including NASA, the Department of Energy, the National Science Foundation, and the Environmental Protection Agency.
